8th Annual Flackville Cup Watkins Glen Results 
9th Annual Flackville Cup
Well it's almost that time again ladies and gentleman. The first race is February 26th at Daytona. I am preparing the email's and document's and as soon as they are done I will email out and get the 9th annual Flackville Cup underway. Thanks for all that played last year hopefully you will all join again this year. If you know anyone else that is interested please forward the email or let me know it so I can add it to the list.
Most of the rules and format in the Flackville Cup will remain the same.
Such as:
Money: $50, pay to myself or at the garage. Email me if you want my address to mail a check.
Points: Top 30 get points. 1st 30, 2nd 29, ... 30th 1. Any questions let me know.
Segments: We will still pick 6 drivers and have segments.
Segment Winners: Whoever has the most points each segment will win some money.
I will attach the 2011 rule sheet for a refresher if anyone needs it and that way anyone new can check them out.
Things that might be a little different this year:
-The attached copy for people using email. You will notice
this year it will be in an excel format. I am trying to make it easy on
people so you will notice under each group there is a drop down box.
Simply press that and pick what driver you want for each segment and
send it back to me.
-Standings and other information will be available here on (www.mattmclear.com)
-We
will go back to the older format of you can't pick the same drivers in
back to back segments. So whoever you pick for segment 1 keep in mind
you can't use them again until segment 3.
An idea myself and a couple people had that I wanted
to get a feel for is, the idea of possibly doing a "Flackville Cup
Chase" for the last 10 races which is the NASCAR Chase to. It would be
the same concept of NASCAR having the top 12 drivers battle it out for
the last 10 races and the top 10 after those races will get the money.
Let me know what you think. If we get a positive feedback we can do
that.
I know it's a little short notice before this
weekends race and I apologize but if you are interested get the picks
and money in ASAP so we can make the 8th annual Flackville Cup a success
just like the first 7. I would like to have picks and money due this
Saturday the 19th. If you can't get the money in at least get me your
picks and we can settle up ASAP.
